Christiana by Christiana Lambert, (c) 2009
The more I blog, the more I am adding photos to my posts. Many of those photos are scanned in from previous years.
But the really good photos are taken by my daughter, Christiana Lambert. Christiana has always been an artist since the days we used to have to hide our recycling if we didn’t want her pulling out all the old cereal boxes and making them into works of art! Over the years she’s done many types of creative arts: cake decorating, knitting, sketching, embellishing shoes and other items with Sharpie, and many more. In 2009 she moved from taking pictures for fun to taking pictures with a serious artist’s eye, as well as adding photo editing to the mix. Long gone are the days when she took pictures of the giraffe’s knees at the zoo–although she might do something like that now for an artistic statement. Stay posted for more great photo art on my blog posts, especially as she has upgraded her cameras and software, as well as her skills.
However, if you want to find out more about Christiana’s photos and art, check out her website or her picture of the day photo blog or her multiple picture photo blog.
Christiana is currently studying Art at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Stay tuned for more great art!

I’m stuck in Fort Collins today and loving it. We were supposed to travel back to Kansas City, but got worried about the storms on I-70.

My daughter brought her brother back here yesterday and went back to Fort Collins last night. I don’t know about I-70, but my friends along I-80 are definitely experiencing storms. Good call to stay in FoCo today. Although the weather has probably changed there, too, it’s likely much safer than heading across the plains right now.
